Marathi Credit Program
What is the program?
This program prepares high school students for the Marathi world language credit test provided in their school district. The districts we serve are Northshore School District, Lake Washington School District, Issaquah School District, and Bellevue School District. If one of these districts are not listed, please contact us and we can work with you to accommodate your student.
Who is this program for?
Any high school student in the greater Seattle area who can speak and write Marathi proficiently and is willing to spend a few hours per week to prepare for the Marathi world language credit test.
What are the benefits?
Students can earn 4 foreign language credits and the Washington Seal of Biliteracy on their high school transcript.
What is the commitment?
Students participate in weekly online classes, prepare to answer specific topics, understand the nature of exam, practice Marathi phonetic typing on their computers, etc. The ask is to spend a few hours every week improving their spoken and written skills on variety of topics.
